BOOK 09 : Colby Days

the name for this book comes from the fact that a fast majority of these pics (just over 30 altogether) were drawn in one evening while vising Akiko up at Colby College.

Fushigi Yuugi

a couple sight-copies of Suboshi from the thirtenth manga of "Fushigi Yuugi." i always felt so bad for Suboshi... he wasn't a bad guy... he was just very impatiant and tended to act too quickly. and he was totally led down the worst paths by Nakago.

this is actually the last page i did while visting at Colby.

a sight-copy of the heart throb Tamahome from "Fushigi Yuugi." i had so problems with his hand.. it's still too big, and his right eye is off. but i still like how it came out.

Star Wars Manga

a sight-copy from the Star Wars Manga. i really liked this artist. i thought he captured the characters very well.

Evangelion: "Kisu renshuu shitai?"

a sight-copy from the Evangelion doujinshi, "Girlfriend of Steal." in this story, Asuka is trying not to be jealous as Shinji tells her about his upcoming date with Mana. in this scene, as they are talking, Masato suddenly comes home and asks Shinji if he wants to practise kissing...

and yet another sight-copy from the Evangelion doujinshi, "Girlfriend of Steal." this is actually Asuka, disguised as Shinji so she can humiliate Mana, forcing her to stay away from Shinji... naturally things go a little different from how she planned...

a sight-copy from the Evangelion doujinshi, "Girlfriend of Steal." this is basically a scene from one of the stories in the doujinshi. the story goes from left to right. it starts when Mana hypnotizes Asuka. the results are, of course, hystarical.
