Art Class 02 : College

i started off my college career by taking the intro drawing class. i hated it. i despised my teacher. she was horrible. i hated the class. it was all, "here's a still life, draw it. here's the next still life. draw it." i tried again in the spring semester with a different teacher, but my first year turned out to be my last taking formal art classes. the only good thing from the class was the few life-drawing classes.

Fushigi Yuugi: Suboshi and Amiboshi

c. september 1998

this wasn't actually drawn in class, but since it wasn't drawn in one of my sketchbooks, i thought i would put it in this section. this was a sight-copy of a Fushigi Yuugi pic of the Seiryuu twins: Amiboshi and Suboshi. their feet suck. too small. and their legs are a bit too thin. but i love how the shading came out, and i like how the dark outline with the shading looks.

drawn in my Drawing II class, using a live-model. the original drawing was on a large piece of newsprint. i took a picture of the original, and scanned the pic. i don't like her shoulder, and her feet were very promblematic. but i like how her butt came out. *laughs*
