World: Earth

Plum's world is a fictionalized version of Earth. An Earth where the histories, myths and legends are one and the same. Plum goes to school at Yale, which is not Yale, in a town that is really more like Amhearst then New Haven - your classic New England town. Plum's Yale is an old, prestigious university (rather like Yale and Harvard) whose library is somewhere between a library and a museum, containing not just books, but also historical artifacts as well.
