Leaf buds (Apr 16, 2011)

Dikadoll ran a wonderful sale over the holidays, and after spending a month debating whether to get the Rena Elf, at the last minute I placed my order, and now that she's in my hands, I'm super happy I got her.

Leaf Merriweather is a nature spirit who had been a childhood friend of Plum and now lives in the state forest next to Plum's home. She doesn't speak, but she and Plum never had problems communicating. Her hair changes colors throughout the seasons.

Mummy doll and lots of goodies. Her default dress and wig, another dress I got her, victory hands, mini-jointed hands, mini magic eraser, s-hooks, wig velcro, remnents, and a candy. Yay for goodies!

She came with a pair of eyes that were AWFUL. They weren't the ones she was pictured in for a fullset. Fortunately, I had a pair of pupilless red eyes that the Prewett Twins rejected. I'm not sure these are her forever eyes, but they look MUCH better than the ones she came with, so they'll do for the time being

And this is the reason I bought her. I LOVE her profile so much.

Now, wig-test time

Unknown wine wig. It's gorgeous, though perhaps a bit more "normal" a color than I was planning for her

A Luts white wig. Winter look. Not sure on this one.

Alice Collection's YJW4215 in #24/613 flaxen with blond. I love how long the braids are, and the buns are very cute. This is another example of too normal a color though.

Alice Collection's YJWD4086N in #144 Golden. Autumn look. The golden glow of the autumn grasses.

Luts KDW-38 in Lavender. Summer look.

Angell Studios Que wig. I immediatley loved this wig as soon as I saw it. I wanted it in the YO size for my baby dragon Suiko, but she's more of a pukifee sized head, and so it would have been much too big. But the mini-sized one fits just fine on Leaf.

Dress-up time

From Alice Collection, G011A in Mini. I'm not fully certain this is right for her, but it is cute.

The Angell Studios Que outfit is gorgeous! I love the details and the colors.
