Winter Candids (Jan. 22, 2011 ; March 12, 2011)

I started to take a few candid shots of my dolls on a lazy January day, until my camera's batteries died. I didn't get a chance to get new batteries for several weeks, and by the time I did, I had completely forgotten these shots. It was a pleasant rediscovery!

When Dollheart released their amazing Steampunk outfits, I knew I needed them for my dolls. With a bit of mix and matching, my kids have their steampunk looks!

I had 2 adorable chinese style winter outfits from Dollmore; the boy outfit was fabulous on Holden, the girl outfit was super adorable on Rin, but I needed one for Ophelia. Fortunately, Angell Studios had an outfit that would work very well--it matched with the other two outfits, and was the loli look appropriate for Ophelia's sense of style! The down side is that it arrived in March, so besides this little try on, it'll have to wait until next winter to really be worn!

Introducing Quu! I've decided to get another puki body for my closed eyed Pongpong face, and it will be my little steampunk pirate, Quu!

Xen and Plum each got a new outfit from Angell Studios, and it seemed appropriate for them to wear their new offits on a fancy date. They seemed to have a good time together, judging from how close they're standing to each other:
