Rin Shikibu's Arrival (July 19, 2010)

I came home from work to find a slip in my mailbox and ten minutes to get down to the post office (less than half a mile down the road, not a problem). Within minutes I had my unexpected box in hand.

Unexpected? Very! I had been checking the site pretty regularly, and there had been no status change.

Inside the storytime box is a beautiful (and nekkid) doll!

Now dressed up in her default dress. The underdress is pretty by itself, but it's stunning with all the pieces to it.

Her nose is a little narrower than I thought, but even so I think her face is stunning. Her eyebrows are a bit high in the middle, giving her a slightly worried, sad look. It's cute, but I shall have to learn how to photograph her when I don't want her to look sad.

All this excitement is a little tiring, so it's time for a little nap.
