"Sakura Poem"
Date: 2010
Media: Ink
Thoughts: Li Izumi's calligraphy is the star of this piece, with my brush painting just accenting. The poem is by the classical poet Izumi Shikibu copied from a manuscript in the hand of the Emperor Go-Tsuchimikado with translation by Li Izumi.
