Weiss Kreuz Wallpapers

8/13/2005: 2 new (and a half) new wallpapers. (one is an older wallpaper that i fixed up and reposted.) i went in and cleaned up a bunch of my older papers (mostly changed my signature from my old handle of "li inverse" to "li izumi".) i changed around "AyaVines" and i'm much happier with the placement of the lyrics now and edited up "in the Matrix" as well.

in the matrix

this cool pic needed a cool background... i was seeing something matrix like, so i found a matrix image and used that.

Just Like you Imagined

being a two page spread in the weiss kreuz artbook, most of my effort went into trying to erase the crease line.

Sexy Ken

Barrel of a Gun

i loved this image, and i kept thinking of the Depeche Mode song when i looked at it.

Garnet Tears

in the art book, there was a color and a grayscale version of this image. i liked them both, so i added the grayscale as a shadow of the color one. it isn't the most complex of my wallpapers, but i like how it came out a lot.

a couple images combined into one.

Omoide no Mori

i was pretty much going for the same effect as the above Assasins image, but the different images meant a slightly different design. i didn't like the look of just two of the portraits on a side, so i used all four, the flopped them for the other side. i like the use of the German text in the background as well.

Flames

this image said flames to me.. so i found an image with flames. it's actually an explosion from the matrix (i found it when i found the matrix background that i used above.

Cool

simlar to the pic above, i saw this image, and it said water! it took me a while to find a good water image to use. the water is faded, and rather subtle, but i think it really gives a nice, calm, cool effect.

Temptation

i love this pic of aya... it's so sexy. the quote is from a Vast song, and just seemed so appropriate.

Purple Weiss

pretty basic image. i took a part of the main image and faded it into the background with a purple tone for the side panels. and calling it "purple white" amuses me.

Vines

the lyrics are from Nine Inch Nails' "I'm looking forward to joining you finally" which i found rather appropriate for the image and series.

Another Brick (in the wall)

this is an older wallpaper, one of the first ones i did. but i wasn't satisifed with it, so i took it off my webpage. i went back and fixed it up, and i'm much happier with it now. most of my efforts went towards erasing the crease line.
