a beautiful picture of Lawless. there was some text that i erased, but most of the word was clearning up the page crease. you can still see an indication of it, but it's not as noticible now i think.

Azel vs the Demons

i love this pic because it has the 3 hottest guys from the series. i did pretty much the same kind of thing to this pic as the above one.

Torn

it's tragic and dark, but i do love the romance (?) between Teteiyusu and Zadei. a collage of images of the boys.

Shame

another gorgeous image of Tetei and Zadei. the color image actually had this beautiful Lawless pic behind Tetei, but i took him out because i wanted to focus on Teteiyusu and Zadei. in the color image, Tetei was looking as if he felt ashamed, so i knew that the background images needed to be a bit more racey. i actually altered the eyebrows on the color image slightly, to try to give a more "worried" expression. i have two versions, so you can decide which one you like better.

Zetsuai

another collage of images concerning the relationship between Teteiyusu and Zadei. "Zetsuai" means desperate love and that seemed very fitting to me for their relationship.

Bone Dragon

Lawless is the reason why i got into this series, but i haven't done many wallpapers of him, have i? i'll work to rectify that! i've had this one half done on my computer for over a year. finally decided i wasn't going to get that crease line any better.

At the Heart of it All

my god this one took a while, as i'm sure you can see! this is made up of 3 images. i joined the two color images with the black and white one of Tetei. i cut out the background on the b&w Tetei image, which took the longest amount of time and was definately the hardest part of this. another big change is half of the kanji text got moved. the tetei/zadei pic had some text on it, but the top half was covered by the b&w Tetei pic, so i cut the text out, moved it over to the Lawless side of the image, and then smudged out where the original text was. this is named after a Nine Inch Nails instrumental, which is as gorgeous as this image is. i found it very fitting, not only the title, but also the song itself, mood-wise.

Love Triangle

i took the same basic idea as the pic above and ran with it. moving away from Tetei-Zadei, i turn my focus onto the main relationship in the series... the love triangle between Hilda, Lawless, and Rod. the Rod pic i had was grayscale, so i desaturated the Hilda/Lawless one to match. the all grayscale was too much, and the front image got lost, so i tinted the background ones red. i actually flipped the Hilda/Lawless image so i could show the focus more on the sword. the last touch was the ghostly eyes of Marron watching down on the scene.

Caught

Yum... tasty shonen-ai goodness, three tasty pairings. not much to say about this one... mostly just spent my time trimming the width a bit so i didn't have quite so much dead black space.

Incubus

this is such a sexy pic of Lawless that i knew i had to do a wallpaper of it. i colored in the roses, his jewelry and his eyes, but left the rest b&w. i really like how it came out.

Cruel

another tasty Lawless pic. i took out a couple of speech bubbles but that's pretty much all i did to this piece. i named it for the Tori Amos song of the same name. seemed appropriate.

Kasou

omg this pic took some effort! the original image is so beautiful, but also quite tall. so first, i cropped it down a bit and took some flowers from the part i cropped to fill in the side panels. but there was a very sharp line between the main image and the side panels that just didn't look right, so then i set about blending to get the side panels and the main image to seemlessly come together. it took a lot of work, but i'm quite pleased with the results!

One I Love

i had some difficulty on finding the right images to use for this one. the most difficult aspect of making this wallpaper was to add in the Zadei pic. i cut out the background of dragons and woods from behind Tetei, which took a bit of effort due to Tetei's gorgeous but obnoxious hair. i also had to cut out the original background on the Zadei pic. and his hair is obnoxious to cut around too.

the theme for this piece is about how Tetei has been in love with Lawless (who alas does not return his love) but now he's starting to realize he is also thinking of Zadei. the One I Love seemed a very appropriate title. and everytime i think of it, i start singing "This one goes out to the one i love..."

Seimaden

finishing up my Seimaden wallpapers, i at last do one with a focus on the real main couple, Lawless and Hilde. i actually did a couple versions of this one, because i couldnt' quite decide how i wanted it. the first one, the main image i used was the purple flower one i used above in the Kasou wallpaper. but since i went and used that image in its own wallpaper, i thought i needed to use something different for this one. so then i used the image that graces the wallpaper now, but the original was quite orange. what i really liked about the original piece i did was the purple tint, so through a lot of effort, i changed the color of the image to purple.
