Cover Series

This is a series of wallpapers based on the manga covers. From left to right we have Kai from vol 1, Yuuki from vol 3, Maxim from vol 6, and Kai again from vol 10.

Continuing from the series above, we have more wallpapers based on the manga covers, this time focusing on the sibling pair, Shen Ru and Shen Long, both on their own and together.

Final Confrontation

we start the E's wallpapers with the big confrontation between Kai and Eiji from the alternate-reality E's story found in the third book. this wallpaper wasn't particularly difficult in exicution, though deciding which images to use and how to lay them out in the wallpaper took a bit of time.

Sorede Owari

"And this is the end..." the ending shot from the alternate version. it actually reads "Kore de owari ni surunda." the tv version teased us with a shot of the alternate-Kai with his bottle of blood around his neck in the opening, but it was not in the anime version at all otherwise. the greatest difficulty in this one was getting all the colors right as i wanted them to be.

Deadly Promises

This wallpaper features the confrontation between Maria and Maxim. i created a collage of images of the two (mostly from v.4) and gave it a blue/purple tint. getting the middle image the way i wanted was the biggest challenge.

Maxim-tachi

This wallpaper features antogonist trio led by Maxim.

Foodfight

For lack of more interesting title, this one is just called 'foodfight'. I didn't do very much to this piece--just cropped it nice.

Guns

Again, this one was pretty basic, without too much work to finish it. And again, I didn't come up with a cute/clever title.

Merry Holidays

This is posted a little after the holidays, but oh well. Unlike the above couple, this one invovled a bit more work. Basically, it was a black and white image that I colored. Isn't Asuka such a cutie in this pic?

Blond Chinese Twins

This is the first of what will be many focusing on the twincestuous pair, Shen Ru and Shen Long. I adore Shen Long. So Much.

Out of Control

Continuing the twincestious coupling of Shen Long and Shen Ru, this one focues on a rather compelling (and dark and twisted) scene from the first volume.

All Souls Pass (into the west)

The title of this piece comes from the Return of the King end theme which is such a beautiful bittersweet song that never fails to make me tear up when i listen to it.
I thought about color this one, or part of it, but decided it was more striking in black and white.

And more pretty twincest between Shen Long and Shen Ru. aren't they so pretty together?

Betrayel

Last of the twistcest wallpapers, this one focuses on the hurt feelings of Shen Long after the changes in his twin. Sniffle... so sad.

Bloody Kai

Keeping with the darker theme, here's a wallpaper focusing on the darker side of Kai. I had a bit of a time figuring out what image to use in the background, but after leaving it on my computer for a year plus, things finally clicked.

Noh

Not a lot of work was needed for this, but it's such a beautiful original image. Not fully certain this one works, but i'm putting it up for now while I decide if i want to redo it or not

Echoes

This started with the center image of Yuki and Maria and nothing else, and sat on my computer for a year plus unfinished. I added the four corner images, faded them, and roughed up the edges. I liked how that was looking, but it needed more. The faded Eiji image was the hardest part that took the longest amount of time. Cut out a lot of fuzz around the edges. But I think the effect is worth the effort I put into it.

Kai Cat

Ending the E's wallpapers collection is a cute little pic of Kai encountering the kitten.
